These statistics really bring home the seriousness of the H1N1 situation. I find it interesting how according to the media many Americans particularly with small children are desperate to get vacines for their children. On the other hand countries with smaller populations such as Canada, which have the vacine available for everyone, are finding a lot of their citizens are not confident enough in the safety of the vacine to receive it. I myself have not made a decision whether or not to get vacinated. If I choose not to get vacinated, I will be cancelling my travel plans for this winter. I haven't heard a lot about how the tourist industry in America is being affected particularily in comparison to what has been said about Mexico.
